The Iconic Juicy Couture Velour Tracksuit Gets A 2020 Makeover
2000’s Paris Hilton realness.
The name 'Juicy Couture' will probably bring many of you a warm sense 2000’s nostalgia, thinking back to a simpler time when Y2K icon Paris Hilton ruled the world, with her Chihuahua in hand and a Juicy velour tracksuit for every day of the week. But, thanks to a collaboration back in 2017 with Vetements, as part of their SS17 collection, Juicy Couture found itself a cult following once more, with a rally of Gen-Z teenagers becoming obsessed with Y2K fashion, music, culture and aesthetics.
Off the back of the LA-based labels rising popularity, Juicy Couture has turned its classic iconic velour tracksuit on its head for their Spring/Summer 2020 collection editorial – clashing Juicy’s past, present and future designs. Brought to us by Ivy Park designer Amy Gibson, the collection will feature updated and innovative versions of their staple tracksuits, whilst introducing new pieces such as one-armed catsuits, bodysuits and silk, formal evening wear (all, of course, adorned with diamante ‘Juicy’ branding!).
Keep an eye out on JuicyCouture.com over the next year to catch some more glimpses of what this exciting collection has to offer, and how you can get your hands on the juiciest pieces as the SS20 season fast approaches.
