The Cutest Easter Outfit Ideas For Every Plan
From egg hunt or family dinners—dress the part.
Dressing up for different holidays is my favorite thing to do, cause when else will you be able to rock a reindeer sweater or a cardigan with embroidered pumpkins without feeling out of place? And then there’s Easter: for me, it marks the true beginning of spring, so the outfits should reflect that shift into a lighter, warmer mood. If you still haven’t figured out what to wear for the holiday, I’ve got you covered. Here are a few outfit ideas to try.
Pastels Only, Please
First, colors. Easter practically calls for a pastel palette. Anything else just feels…not quite right. The best part is that you don’t have to stick to just one shade: you can mix and match them within a single outfit. My personal favorite combination is lemon yellow, baby blue, mint green, and soft pink. On a regular day, wearing all of them at once might feel like too much, but on Easter? It’s just right.

The Easter Dress Code
Flowy maxi dresses are always a great option for this holiday. They capture that light, fresh, and airy feeling that comes with blooming spring. You can go for a solid color or choose something with a delicate print. Floral, polka dots, small checks, or strips all work beautifully. Alternatively, you can swap the dress for a maxi skirt with a simple top, which creates the same effortless effect.
Dungarees, But Make It Spring
For a fun day out—whether it’s a walk in the park or a family egg hunt—dungarees are a perfect choice. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always associated them with Easter. They’re not only comfortable but also easy to style. Instead of classic denim, try earthy tones, like brown or olive green. They pair especially well with the pastel tops.

A Little Vintage Moment
If you don’t want to put much thought into your outfit, there’s still an easy way to bring in some holiday spirit. Look for a piece with soft vintage-inspired print. Think flowers, rabbits, or other countryside motifs. Something à la Beatrix Potter, whose cozy illustrations capture that lovely Easter atmosphere.
A Little Vintage Moment
And, as always, don’t forget the small details: they’re what set the tone. Go for Cottagecore-inspired accessories, like an embroidered or lace collar, a straw hat, ribbons in your hair, nature-themed jewelry, or ankle socks with ruffles. Even the simplest jeans-and-top ensemble can feel festive with the right finishing touches.
