The Best Holiday Fashion Campaigns of 2024 to Celebrate the Season
Still not feeling festive? Take a look at this!
With Christmas and the winter holidays just around the corner, we’ve rounded up five campaigns from your favorite fashion and jewelry brands to get you into the holiday spirit. These creative takes on holiday celebrations are guaranteed to spark your imagination—and maybe even your wish list!
1. Bimba y Lola- ¡VAYA! IT'S XMAS AGAIN
“Deeply fresh, seriously playful,” one of the campaign’s taglines, perfectly captures the essence of this eccentric holiday story starring Spanish actress and fashion icon Rossy de Palma. Known for her bold individuality, Rossy is the ideal muse for these unconventional Christmas scenes—hiding naked behind a tree adorned with Bimba Y Lola charms, savoring churros with the new pocket tote bag by her side, or scrolling through social media on the couch in full Bimba Y Lola glam instead of heading out for a fancy soirée. Directed by the whimsical PZ Opassuksatit and her creative team, PZtoday, the campaign cleverly blends humor, festive charm, and a touch of absurdism, highlighting Rossy’s vibrant personality and the brand’s latest holiday collection.
2. Jacquemus- The Winter Retreat
Just like every year, Jacquemus unveiled his winter collection, but this time, the protagonist is none other than Model of the Year, Alex Consani. Offering a fresh take on a self-care retreat, the campaign directed by Lisa Jahovic reimagines Jacquemus’ signature surrealist aesthetic. Through Lisa’s genius storytelling and set design tricks, everyday objects become playful art—like moving strings with orange slices or cucumber slices covering Consani’s whole body (secured with a thick Vaseline coat, as the model revealed). Cozy knitwear, cream-hued bags, and furry moon boots (hinting at the new Jacquemus collab) seamlessly embody the resort’s soothing atmosphere. The warm, buttery lighting and the soft beige and nude palette merge the set and the collection, creating a tranquil visual escape that makes you long for a day at the Jacquemus resort.
3. Burberry- Wrapped in Burberry
Stepping away from surrealism and absurdist humor, Burberry’s 2024 holiday campaign takes a more simple yet equally impactful approach. Shot on the streets of London, the brand’s home city, it celebrates the traditional joy of Christmas spent with family and friends. The portraits feature best friends David Tennant and Alex Hassell, as well as designer and artist Slawn with his family, all clad in Burberry’s classic check print and coats. Stealing the show, the Stoler couple from Nebraska, longtime Burberry clients, are photographed carrying Burberry shopping bags and cuddling under a branded blanket. Nevertheless, all images radiate warmth, love, and festive cheer, and would make the perfect Christmas cards!
4. Cartier- Magical Night
Cartier’s holiday campaign brings magic realism to life—think Night at the Museum meets Narnia. It starts like the cliche Christmas ad: snowy streets, glowing lights, and a group of friends happily roaming the streets, stopping to stare at Cartier’s festive display. But when they open the shop's door, reality dissolves—a jungle appears, where Cartier’s iconic green-eyed panther comes to life. Inside, the boutique transforms into a fantastical playground of endless rooms, music, and classic Cartier pieces. The ending, however, brings us back to the shop window, leaving us to wonder: did the friends ever move, or were they only dazzled by Cartier’s sparkle, imagining the magic inside? And honestly, wouldn’t Cartier jewelry make us all hallucinate a bit?
5. Michael Kors - It’s Lit
Directed by Bardia Zeinali, this is a cinematic delight for holiday season lovers. The short film follows model sisters Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle as they race to a Christmas party dressed in the brand’s holiday collection—silver knee-high boots, gold foil purses, sequins, feathers, faux fur, statement jewelry, the ultimate essentials for a festive night out. It accurately captures the chaotic charm of a New York Christmas: running late, cab rides, and an impromptu bodega run, where you end up having a sing-along to Jingle Bells with comedian Morgan Jay, legendary stylist Patricia Field, and TikTok's favorite singer, Harry Daniels. It’s festive, glamorous, unpredictable, and quintessentially New York.
So, what’s it going to be this year? Churros on the couch, a winter retreat, a shopping spree with loved ones, a walk in the jungle, or a 7/11 midnight run? Whatever you choose, one thing’s for sure— with these holiday campaigns, brands have already set the tone for an unforgettable holiday season!
