An Album Is Not All We Got From SZA This Past Week
This past week has been truly special for SZA fans.
This past week SZA fans have been highly blessed not only with an album, but the drop of her early 2000s-inspired Crocs in partnership with the footwear brand. Released just the day before the musician's highly anticipated album “S.O.S”, these crocs are riddled with accents of our homegirl.
Crocs continue to pop up on the shoe wracks of many, including the Grammy Award-winning musician SZA. As her second collaboration with Crocs, the drop incorporates Crocs Classic Cozzzy Sandal, alongside the Classic Crush Clog. Both designs are coated with distressed denim that pays homage to Y2K fashion and compliments the artist’s own distinctive style.
Incorporating two myriad silhouettes, the Cozzzy Sandals in particular are lined with inner fur that adds extra comfort and warmth. Meanwhile, the Crush Clog features a thicker, more elevated form with a platform that gives it a unique look. Both pairs are supplied with retro-inspired Jibbitz that include floppy disks, flip phones and common emojis. Other charms such as the Scorpio emblem, bee, wave and frog all are in acknowledgment of SZA’s love for nature and personal relationship with spirituality.
Approaching its release, customers were given the option of entering a draw by visiting crocs.com. Depending on their success they would then be notified 12 hours before the closing of the raffle. The SZA-inspired Crocs retail for $80 for the Classic Cozzzy Sandals and the Classic Crush Clog sells for $75.
So to all Crocs enthusiasts or Crocs virgins, run before sizes run out of stock.
