An ode to Sister Nancy’s iconic bop “Bam Bam.”

Following her latest single “I Can’t Breathe” addressing the Black Lives Matter movement, with the songs visual including protest footage from around the world, H.E.R. is back with a surprise drop.

The Grammy Award winner’s new tune titled “Do To Me” samples the much-loved 1982 Sister Nancy song “Bam Bam”, which if you think you haven’t heard, you definitely have. H.E.R. channels a pained love through her infectious vocals, asking her lover why they made her so blind. We’ve been there, sis. H.E.R. previously explored reggae with the 2019 track “Slow Down” in which she collaborated with Bob Marley’s grandson, Skip Marley, and performed the tune live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last February.
