Stussy X Nike Team Up For New Sustainable Sneakers
The latest sustainable launch for the duo.
Nike X Stussy are back for yet another new drop, with this time announcing one that focuses on the environment and features a range of sneakers and new apparel. The classic Air Force 1 is set to be given a hand-dyed finish which will sit alongside a range of upcycled apparel.
These updated new sneakers will feature Stussy’s iconic logo embroidered on both the toe box and in the form of co-branding on the tongue tag. Each pair of shoes will then be hand-dyed using plant color by the Los Angeles art project ‘Lookout & Wonderland’. These natural dyes will be used to create five new colorways including red, green, deep gray, yellow and blue.
As well as this, cosy apparel that consists of a pullover hoodie, skirt and pants are to be featured. These garments will be made using translucent ripstop fabric which boasts a minimum of 75% recycled nylon. They will also feature a Thermore EcoDown filling with recycled polyester for extra coziness.
These limited-edition sneakers alongside the cozy new apparel are set to be released on January 29 at 10 a.m. PST via Stussy’s Website.
