Stella McCartney Launches Her First Gender-Inclusive Collection

… and re-defining the future of fashion.

POSTED BY VIKTORIA BIELAWA

The Queen of fashion sustainability and environmentalism has once again proved she knows exactly what the new generation of fashion fans want. Stella McCartney has stepped-up against the status quo and launched a new line of open-minded and gender fluid clothing ranging from wooly jumpers to long shirts.

I think it’s beautiful how they inclusively celebrate individuality and diversity, and are using their self-expression to affect social change,” explains Stella McCartney to Dazed about the new generation of fighters for social and environmental change.

The designer has always been known for her effortless masculine and feminine energy in her collections. Now, taking it a step further, Stella McCartney Shared is her first ever gender-inclusive line.

Our favourite must be the Holden Tailor Jacket ($1,630) paired with the Julien Tailored Trousers ($700), making it a timeless and eco-friendly attire of the post-lockdown life. But the true leader of the collection must be the Ricky Silk Shirt ($900), with its bold stone-figure patterns on a sustainable, mustard-yellow silk material – perfect for that early-Fall streetwear.
