Everything That Went Down at Spotify's Best New Artist Party
The stars were ready to kick off Grammy Weekend.
As a precursor to the 2023 Grammy Music Awards, Spotify hosted their Best New Artist Party on February 2nd, with stars flocking in droves. The invite-only event saw the most exciting new names in music walk the red carpet and perform prior to Grammy weekend. Hosted by the music streaming giant Spotify, the exclusive guest list included Madison Beer, Sabrina Carpenter, Anderson .Paak, Omar Apollo, and Anitta.
With "Music's Biggest Night" inching closer, the bash celebrates the "Best New Artist" category at the esteemed awards. This year's ten nominees, including Wet Leg Band, Omar Apollo, Maneskin, and Latto, got the chance to perform at the event. The Spotify event has grown significantly in its six-year lifespan, with a stacked music lineup and appearances from high-profile celebs dubbing it the hottest ticket in town.
"We went from being able to pop up a couple of lo-fi performances into…producing essentially a concert within an industry party," said Spotify high-up Sarah Patellos back in 2020. Despite the event's newfound status and exclusivity, the stars turned up in some of their more casual looks this awards season.
Madison Beer turned heads in an off-shoulder black leather mini-dress. Adorn with a simple, sleek middle part and silver hoop earrings, Beer looked classic and ready to party.

Nominee Anitta hit the stage in head-to-toe denim, rocking thigh-high blue-jean boots and sunglasses. The Brazilian singer performed her hit "Envolver" at the Best New Artist Party stage last Thursday.
"Anitta made a notable impression with her undeniable stage presence. She cooed 'Welcome to Brazil' before engaging in a lengthy dance routine and segueing into the driving pop of 'Boys Don't Cry', a detour that flaunted her stylistic range" — USA Today. pic.twitter.com/N4t4UUAYY2
