Somerset House Skate Returns This Winter

Skating season is back and Somerset House is going big for its 25th anniversary. From November 12, 2025 to January 11, 2026, the iconic courtyard transforms into London’s ultimate festive playground, complete with ice, music, style, and a 40-foot Christmas tree stealing the spotlight. Pre-sale opens September 25 — and subscribers get a full 24 hours of early access to snag the prime slots before anyone else.
What’s New on the Ice
This year, artist Harold Offeh turns the rink into a living artwork, blending movement and play. Skate Lates return with DJ takeovers by Foundation FM, Ruf Dug, Sue Veneers, and a Rhythm & Roots special from Jennie Baptiste. Between spins, warm up in the Skate Lounge with rinkside DJ sets or book an alpine-style dinner at The Chalet by Jimmy Garcia. Blondies Kitchen joins the lineup with festive sweets, while Shelter Boutique brings curated finds from Oliver Bonas, AllSaints, Nobody’s Child, and more.
