London-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sophie Galpin, known by her stage name SOFT LAD, is making waves in the music scene with her latest single, 'Least Of My Worries.' The track, released on October 19, is part of her eagerly anticipated EP, 'Give It A Go,' set to drop on November 2 under Incantation Records. To celebrate the EP launch, Sophie has also announced a UK headline tour, with a special EP launch show at Notting Hill Arts Club on the same day.

SOFT LAD's talent and versatility shine through in her music, as evidenced by her previous single, 'The Human Condition,' which received acclaim from various quarters, including DORK, Gaydio, Pink News, and Get In Her Ears. As a multi-instrumentalist for renowned artists like SELF ESTEEM and SOAK, she's no stranger to the industry, having also worked with the likes of Jessie Ware, Becky Hill, Charli XCX, James Vincent McMorrow, and The Breeders.

Soft Lad draws in her listeners with relatable, expressive storytelling, infused with a core of honest, heartfelt angst. Her sound is a blend of '90s pop nostalgia, reminiscent of All Saints, The Spice Girls, and Destiny's Child, while also featuring indie sensibilities like guitar solos and catchy singalong choruses.

'The Human Condition,' the debut single from her upcoming EP, delves into the familiar theme of mistreating those closest to us, delivering an upbeat exploration of this topic. Meanwhile, 'Least Of My Worries' takes a different tone, with Sophie revealing that the inspiration for the song struck her during a melancholic pandemic walk while listening to Katie Malco's album, 'Failures.' In her own words, "I was really inspired, and I wrote the chorus in my Notes app while I was out and about."

With her captivating sound and honest lyricism, SOFT LAD is an artist to watch in the music world, and her 'Give It A Go' EP promises to be a musical journey that fans won't want to miss.
