SKIMS Is Reviving The Infamous Y2K Airport Look
The new velour collection is an ode to Kim Kardashian’s jet-setting socialite era.
Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS has added new styles to its Y2K inspired “Velour” collection. Released on August 31, the brands latest drop revives the infamous ‘00s airport look.
Kim Kardashian is no stranger to being papped in an iconic velour sweatsuit alongside celeb pals like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan back in the day. This time around, the trend takes on a Skims touch with fall-ready tones ranging from warm copper to dusty rose. The velour sets include cami and crew tank silhouettes, paired with zip-up hoodies and joggers. The collection also features bike shorts and leggings, in true Skims style.
This second collection is an exciting sequel to Kim Kardashian’s first Skims Velour Collection which starred herself and Paris Hilton. The new campaign images are an eye-catching time capsule of the early 2000s, shot on a digital camera giving serious Y2K nostalgia.
The collection is available to shop now on SKIMS.
