You go, girl!
The Berrics hosted its first-ever highly-anticipated women’s skateboarding battle at the Berrics on December 8 2019, in California. The skaters: Monica Torres, Samarria Brevard, Alexis Sablone and Lacey Baker all battled it out for the winning title.
The lineup had some pretty tough skaters in the game – starting with Baker who hails from California won seven X Games medals. Sablone who has three gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze. Brevard of California who is currently training for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. And Lastly, Brazilian pro skater Torres who is sponsored by Volcom and Ethika.
After the four women battled it out in the semifinals, Torres and Sablone were the last women standing who faced it off in the finals.
The two finalists gave each other one hell of a challenge, but in the end, Brazilian-native Monica Torres knocked out Alexis Sablone with a hella clean skate run.
