Serena Williams Will Play At Wimbledon With A Sparkly New Swarovski x Nike Brooch

With Wimbledon kicking off next Monday, Nike has revealed a sneak peek of Serena Williams’ outfit featuring a sparkly offering from Swarovski. 

Serena will be wearing a sweater knit, textured white dress along with a Swoosh brooch adorned with 34 crystals, which symbolizes the age at which Williams won her most recent London Grand Slam which was 2016.

Abby Swancutt, Global Design Director for NikeCourt, took inspiration from past generations for this sparkly accessory dubbed the ‘Broosh.’ “I also wanted her to feel like it was something her grandmother could have worn, but of course give it a modern spin and make it right for Serena.” 

Williams is aiming for her 24th Grand Slam title this year. She hasn’t played since her third round defeat at the French Open last month where she wore a graphic Off-White cape designed by Virgil Abloh.
