Rihanna Calls Out Trump, Says Mass Shootings Are ‘Terrorist Attack’
You spelt terrorism wrong
Rihanna has never been afraid to criticize Donald Trump in the past, but just like many others she has had enough following the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. In a post on Instagram, Rihanna called out Trump using a screenshot of one of his tweets.
“Um… Donald, you spelled ‘terrorism’ wrong” She wrote. “Your country has 2 terrorist attacks backs to back hour apart leaving almost 30 innocent people dead. This just days after yet another terrorize attack in California, where a terrorize was able to LEGALLY purchase an assault rifle (AK-47) in Vegas, then drive hours to a food festival in Cali leaving 6 more people dead including a young infant baby boy.”
In June Rihanna urged the public to speak up against Trump’s immigration policies, and now she is highlighting how these shootings are acts of domestic terrorism.
“Imagine a world where it’s easier to get an AK-47 than a VISA,” she wrote. “Imagine a world where they build a wall to keep terrorists IN AMERICA!!! My prayers and deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all the victims from Texas, California, and Ohio! I’m so sorry for your loss! Nobody deserves to die like this! NOBODY!”
She was not the only musician to speak up after the shootings. With a retweet of Trump confirming the authorities are investigating the shootings further, Cardi B wrote, “We have enough information already! Both shooters are white supremacist terrorist with intentions to kill minorities. Law enforcement took rapid action but what are YOU going to do to control some of your RACIST SUPPORTERS?”
The shooting in El Paso, Texas left 20 dead and 26 injured, while the shooting in Dayton, Ohio left nine dead and 26 injured.
