R.E.M Beauty Announces Makeup Collaboration with Wicked

If you were somehow unaware, Ariana Grande is starring as Glinda in the upcoming movie Wicked, which debuts in theaters on November 22nd. The singer has decided to merge this passion project with another current project of hers - r.e.m beauty.

The beauty brand was founded by Ariana Grande in 2021 and features an array of makeup products such as lip oils, blushes, and a sixty-shade range foundation line.

On September 18th, r.e.m beauty announced on social media that they have collaborated with the upcoming movie to create a Wicked-inspired beauty collection.

The announcement explains that the collection contains a “limited edition, exclusive capsule of nine products, based on themes, motifs, and scenes of the Wicked movie.”

What Are the Products?

Galinda Set

This set contains four products inspired by Ariana Grande’s character, Glinda:
•    Lustrous Liquid Shadow in a shimmering soft lavender
•    Gel Liner Pencil in a bubbly periwinkle
•    Blush & Lipstick in a sheer fuchsia
•    Matte Lipstick in a metallic shade of rose

Elphaba Set

This set contains four products inspired by the movie’s main character, Elphaba:
•    Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow in an emerald green with champagne pearl
•    Gel Liner Pencil in a matte black olive green
•    Blush & Lipstick in a sheer plum
•    Color-changing lip balm that shifts from black to rich plum

Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette

This is a twelve-shade eyeshadow palette with packaging that mimics the Book of Oz. The palette contains a variety of matte and shimmer shades.

So Popular pH Adaptive Lip Oil

As the name of the product suggests, this is a lip oil that adapts to your pH level and changes color. The lip oil transforms into a unique shade of vibrant pink, while the packaging resembles Glinda’s wand.

Galinda Glow Drops

These are shimmer drops that can either be worn on their own or underneath makeup. The drops have a rosy pink shade and contain hyaluronic acid and peptides to hydrate the skin.

These are water-gel hybrid lip stains that also adjust color on each person. This product is available in three shades: fuchsia, berry red, and pink.

Luxury Beautification Under-Eye Masks

These under-eye masks are formulated with hyaluronic acid and caffeine to boost and hydrate the skin. The under-eye masks have holographic tones that emulate Glinda’s bubble.

The r.e.m beauty x Wicked collaboration will be available at midnight EST on October 1st. It will also be available from Ulta Beauty stores and the Ulta Beauty website in early October.
