Radiant With Joy: Meet RDNT
The ukrainian brand born during the war that’s expressing its thirst for life.
This year everything has changed drastically for the people of Ukraine, fashion designers included. Andre Tan, a Ukrainian fashion designer whose brand boasts five ELLE style awards and has dressed the national Olympic team has decided to create a whole new clothing collection inspired by the war. RDNT is designed to create light even in the darkest of times and the brand says that “every stitch here is filled with love” as love always overcomes hatred.
Inspired by the aura color chart the garments feature shades of purple, pink, green, blue, and yellow. The clothes feature joyous little details like a heart cut-out on a vibrant hot pink hoodie and a message of hope saying “where you are now is not forever” on a flesh-colored top. A print used on many pieces resembles the reflection of a swimming pool or the ocean on a clear day, the use of water as a motif is portraying the main element of life and symbolizes thirst for living.
The unisex brand is made with the conscious consumer in mind, an innovative fabric made from recycled plastic that feels like cotton. The material expertly regulates heat transfer and absorbs moisture, this helps keep the body warm in the cold and cool in the heat. The brand hopes that in the future they can open up a Ukrainian based production facility that will run on renewable solar energy.
The collection is available worldwide at the rdnt.store with all proceeds going to support the Ukrainian army.
