Psyched For Psychedelics - The Marni X Carharrt WIP Collaboration Is Here
Casual yet vivid, we're psyched for this.
Carhartt WIP and Marni have revealed a first look at their new collaboration. Known for its casual yet stylish workwear, Carhartt WIP have teamed up with the Italian fashion house Marni to bring the 70s back to life in their new collection.
Led by Francesco Risso, Marni’s Creative Director, the new collection has an elevated feel to it. Using a variety of tones, the collection is earthy while simultaneously having the relaxed and carefree air of the 70s. There are jackets and overshirts featuring forest greens and floral patterns, which is a perfect middle ground of the two brands. These work shirts feature a red collar for a pop of fun, representing both the casual nature of Carhartt WIP and the playful air of Marni. Alongside these, dual-tone, asymmetrical midi-skirts using earthy browns and reds bring subdued nostalgia to the collection. Additionally, a deep brown leather jacket upholds the air of sophistication of this collection, showcasing the subtle power of neutrals.
Since it’s a Carhartt WIP collab, it goes without saying that there are smaller, tasteful accessories featured too. For example, the Carhartt WIP staple Bucket Hat with a green and white floral print bring casual fun to the collection and tote bags ensure that the collaboration remains practical yet vivid, true to Carhartt WIP’s nature.
