Prada x Adidas Superstar Sneaker Unveiled
First look at the new collab set to launch December 4th
Today we got our first glimpse of the long-awaited collaboration between luxury Italian fashion house Prada and sportswear king adidas. The partnership focuses on the classic adidas Superstar and celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic sneaker which has been reimagined many times through the decades.
Keeping things simple, the monochrome designs will suit fans of minimalism and is a far cry from the chunky, colorful styles seen lately (looking at you Triple S). The standout features include the ‘Prada’ and ‘Made In Italy’ logos debossed on the outside with the adidas Trefoil logo on the tongue and heel. The collection is limited to 700 pieces and the sneakers will all feature a unique serial number shown on the instep. A bowling bag will also be part of the launch, made from Italian leather and featuring a nylon sports strap.
While prices have still to be announced, we know both the sneakers and bags will be available in black or white and will be available from December 4th in selected Prada boutiques and also from prada.com and adidas.com.
