Post Malone’s New Rosé Has Us On Cloud Wine

“Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy” – Posty, 2020

POSTED BY ELEANOR MERRY

Despite his stoner-bro aesthetic, multiplatinum rapper Post Malone has been making a splash in this year’s rosé revolution. For sure, there’s a dissonance between rosé and the brands Post has associated himself with in the past including Bud Light, Doritos and Crocs, so his interest in the pink state of mind seemed beyond ironic brilliance.

However, since dropping his debut Provencal rosé, Maison No. 9 earlier this summer, Posty along with co-founders James Morrissey and Dre London have been on a mission to break down the perceptions of the blush stuff. Traditionally associated with rich white girls partying in St. Tropez, Post Malone’s marketing for Maison No. 9 sets the tone for as he speeds through a vineyard on a scintillating pink vespa in the trailer for the wine.

Straight from the sun-drenched shores of the Méditerranée, the light pink wine is crisp, refreshing and explosive in flavor with notes of sweet peaches. Aromas of freshly picked fruits including pineapple, pear and strawberry meet hints of sweet French desserts once uncorked. Perfect for sunset sipping, the bright and mellow juice comes with a mineral finish and a delicate citrus aroma that soaks the mouth with a smooth and drinkable experience.

The slender bottle is sleek and simple in design, with Gothic font etched in white straight onto the glass. The logo represents Post’s favorite tarot card, the Nine of Swords, which is represented by a sword encircled by a climbing rose; a nod to the tattoo that extends from the rapper’s right temple.
