Polly Pocket Inspired Fits That Feel Straight Out of Childhood

Whenever I want my outfit to feel more playful, I think about my favorite childhood toy, Polly Pocket! She lived in a tiny world full of bright colors and fun details, which is exactly the kind of energy I want from my outfits sometimes. 

Polly Pocket has always represented imagination, creativity, and the freedom to build our own little world.

When I was younger and dressing my Polly Pocket, I would mix tops and bottoms that absolutely didn’t match, and whatever micro shoes I could find at the bottom of my toy box. Unknowingly, I would look at the 2000s toy and find outfit inspo from it.

Dressing with Polly Pocket in mind means I look for pieces that feel bold and lively. I’m obsessed with a colorful tank top, a patterned maxi skirt, and a chunky flip-flop. In terms of the whole look, a ponytail and bright pink lip gloss is the cherry on top of the Polly Pocket micro cake. 

It’s less about looking exactly like a doll, but reconnecting with your inner child. I can be older and wear clothes that aren’t so boring or mundane. That’s what makes Polly Pocket-inspired fits so special.
