OTW by Vans is dropping something extra special this winter—a bold collaboration with Vans Skate Team rider Beatrice Domond. Introducing the OTW by Vans Mary Jane DS by Beatrice Domond: an edgy, reimagined take on the classic Mary Jane, inspired by Beatrice’s roots, personal style, and her game-changing career in skateboarding.
Combining timeless cool with Beatrice’s unique edge, the Mary Jane DS features a monochromatic black leather and suede upper, luxe goatskin linings, and a rugged statement outsole—skate-ready but fashion-forward. The real magic? The insole, where a digitally printed map of Haiti pays tribute to Beatrice’s family heritage, adding soul to every step. The cherry on top? Retro Vans-inspired custom packaging stamped with her signature and logo for that extra collectible flair.
To celebrate the release, Beatrice dives into her roots in a stunning campaign film by Sandy Kim, co-directed by Domond and her partner Z Inwoon. Shot in her hometown of Miami, the film follows Beatrice and her grandmother Elise as they share tender moments about family, identity, and the hustle that got her here. From Haitian Creole conversations to Beatrice’s reflections in English, the short beautifully charts her evolution—from skating on the block to creating her dream collab.
“For this project, I wanted to show my community another side of me,” Beatrice shares. “No one really knows about my Haitian ancestry, and this shoe is a big deal for me. It’s an homage to my grandma and my mom—without them, I wouldn’t have had these amazing opportunities.”
With a style that’s equal parts skate-inspired, fashion-forward, and deeply personal, this drop is one for the books.
