On Labs Lands In Berlin
Running, art, and tech collide.
Berlin just got a new playground for tech, art, and sweat. On officially launched On Labs Berlin at the legendary Kraftwerk with a guest list of 90 insiders who came to witness the brand’s future-facing mash-up of performance, culture, and design. Headliner? The LightSpray™ robot, which sprayed a Cloudboom Strike LS upper in under three minutes—straight-up sci-fi energy.
Innovation Meets Culture
The night kicked off with a guided tour through Kraftwerk, followed by a panel where On’s own innovators, creative director Maria Koch of 032c, athlete Samuel Fitwi, and artist Boris Acket broke down how performance tech collides with culture. Acket’s installation Architecting Lightness stole the visual spotlight—40 meters of translucent fabric floating on air currents, basically turning the space into a breathing sculpture.
A Weekend Takeover
The opening wasn’t just a one-night show. On Labs Berlin is open all weekend with stacked programming. Think running analyses, recovery massages, sweaty community workouts, and workshops that push movement beyond the finish line. Nightlife gets its moment too: Friday’s collab with HEISSS brought pounding electronic sets, while Saturday teams up with Atonal for a soundscape-meets-rave hybrid featuring Lee Gamble, Logic1000, and Big Ever.
More Than a Store
Alongside panels, workouts, and parties, the pop-up shop features the brand-new Cloudboom Strike LS and the marathon-ready collection. Add in meet-and-greets with athletes, a three-minute speed challenge, and plenty of creative crossovers, and you’ve got Berlin’s freshest hub where sport doesn’t just meet culture—it runs straight through it.
