All Of The Cool Ways Nike Has Updated Its Air Zoom Pegasus 35

The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus has been around for 35 years, would you believe it? And when a performance shoe goes such a distance, repped all the while by some of the world's best runners, you know it's a winner.

Still, if you'd been running for 35 years straight, you'd probably need a new leg.

Nike thought it high time to update the veteran runner once again, this time enlisting British long-distance champion and Pegasus mega-fan Mo Farah to provide his expert insight. Though the mesh cut-and-sew upper and part foam, part air midsole remains the same, here's what's new.

• The notched tongue makes it easier to slip on and off

• The bottom eyelet has been moved to open up and provide flex in the foot

• On Farah's recommendation, the collar has been directed away from the Achilles for added comfort

• The fast and modern-looking beveled heel helps with touchdown

• It now features a full-length airbag, inspired by the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%, to offer responsive cushioning and improved transition and flexibility

• The women's silhouette was specifically tuned for the female foot with a slightly softer Cushlon foam
