Nike Just Revealed New Air Max 97's In Pastel Pink
Take a closer look at the sneaker grabbing everyone's attention.
Going into summer bright colors, nods to florals and fruits are always expected. Pink seems to be the color of the season in every shade imaginable, and Nike understood the assignment. We’re talking from haute couture to the digital runways of Instagram. Pink was hugely thematic throughout Diesel’s S/S 2022 collection and Jacquemus’ recent A/W 21 Paris fashion show, meaning that it looks like pink will be sticking with us for the foreseeable future…and we’re not mad about it!
Nike have welcomed this trending color with open arms after the reveal of an upcoming release of the iconic Nike Air Max 97 sneaker. The sneaker is set to be released in an elegant pastel pink hue, most likely to be the shade ‘Barely Rose’. Leather mudguards match the pastel pink whilst the wavy overlays are contrasted in a bright white, adding texture and a tonal look. White laces cross over the pastel tongue continuing the seamless design. The nylon-like based sneaker is completed with a white sole featuring the Air Max 97’s unmistakable Air Unit. Nike’s iconic Swoosh is embroidered on the side of the sneaker in a white that pops against the pink of the leather.
