The US has always been the rebellious child of the British Empire. Throughout centuries it’s ditched the British rules and bureaucracy and played to its own tune (although of late With the Whole Trump thing Going on, someone should give the US a memo to get it’s shiz in order). While British Wimbeldon follows a strict code of athletes attire and prefers a more sophisticatedly posh gentle-humans match between rivals. Wild Child USA, is a color tastic fashion rebellion where many Tennis Sneakers have made their debut.

For the 50th anniversay of the Open, NikeCourt is set to release a muted orange hue with a neon green peaking up from the heel. The colorway will be featured on the Nike Air Zoom Zero, taking cues from the inaugural match played in 1968 at Forrest Hill. Catch a glimpse of these on Tennis star Sloane Stephens during the US Open between August 27th - September 9th.

Nike will be releasing these on Nike.com from August 13th for $130.
