Nike Unveil Air Jordan 1 University Blue
The only blues we want this winter.
Fresh off the back of their new J Balvin Jordan 1 collab, Nike are set to release a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 this winter, giving it the university blue treatment.
Blue Jordans have been all the range this year, and the style echos the sought after color palette of the Jordan 1 Retro High UNC Patent Blue, and the Jordan 1 Low UNC to name a few. The new sneaker features a blue, white and black colorblock look that takes inspo from retro Jordan 1 styles.
Premium blue suede sits on top of a white leather upper, with contrasting black leather on the swoosh, collars and lacing system. White panels appear on the toe box, quarters and throats, and the blue suede takes centre stage on the mudguards, eyestays, collar flaps and heels. Finishing touches include a Nike Air motif on the tongue tag and ball and wings logo on the collar flap.
The sneakers are yet to receive an official release date, but are tipped to hit the shelves in February 2021 and are expected to retail at around $170.
Given the hype around similar blue styles this year, we expect these to be a hard cop, so keep your eyes peeled for further info!
