Nicki Nicole Debuts Upbeat Song For Upcoming Album "ALMA"

The Argentine Rapper delivers a new single "qué le pasa conmigo?" with Spanish singer Rels B.

Argentine singer, songwriter, rapper and Harper’s Bazaar-cosigned “musical powerhouse” Nicki Nicole debuts a new collaboration “qué le pasa conmigo?” with Spanish rapper Rels B from her next album project, “ALMA”. 

The Tatool produced track, co-written by Nicki and Rels, highlights the versatility of the FADER-deemed “dexterous shape-shifting MC,” as she demonstrates a self-reflective side of her sound. In the music video, the two performers vye for each other's attention, while also sharing the spotlight.

 

 

"When Rels B and I recorded 'que le pasa conmigo?' we realized it was a hit.” Nicki shares, “We have been messaging each other a lot waiting for this moment so that everyone can listen to it. It's the second song of my next album ALMA and it makes me happy, sincerely I'm very happy. I hope you like it as much as we do."

“Qué le pasa conmigo?” follows the Nicki’s latest release “NO voy a llorar :'),” garnering over 13 Million YouTube streams and presenting a new era of honesty in her lyrics; highlighted by The New York Times as “a preemptively defensive breakup song” that mixes Latin R&B with “a whiff of hyperpop helium,” with E! News noting the “personal and mature” nature of the track. 

 

 

Nicki Nicole is “quickly making a name for herself in the world of trap, reggaeton, and hip-hop,” cosigned by Galore on their cover and “constantly flying around the world, playing enormous shows for [her] ever-growing audiences,” as Rolling Stone recounts in print, Nicki  wrapped her first headline tour in Mexico, following breakout North American festival performances at Coachella, This Ain't No Picnic and Baja Beach. She closed the annual Viña del Mar Festival in Chile where she won the iconic Seagull award and performed at Isle of Light Music Festival in March which Remezcla named her as one of the "stand out acts" for. She’s also making an appearance at Festival Cruïlla in Barcelona in July. 

Nicki is currently starring on the Netflix show, La Firma. She serves as the only female judge alongside Rauw Alejandro, Yandel, Tainy and Lex Borrero, on the Netflix competition show seeking to find the next Latin superstar.
