Salehe Benbury And Crocs Keep Us On Our Toes With New Colorways For The Pollux Clogs
Now if only they would announce the release date.
It’s official! Less than a week after their May 24 release, Salehe Bembury and Croc's newest drop of the Pollux Clogs have sold out! Known for the finger-print inspired design (and high prices, starting at $85), these crocs were first released in December of 2021, and it is rumored that new colors may be released soon.
Salehe Bembury is a streetwear and shoe designer who has worked with the likes of Yeezy and Versace. His Pollux Crocs are the first shoe from Crocs to break the mold from their typical clog silhouette, but they also have interchangeable and adjustable heel straps. These shoes are so highly coveted that they not only sell out in days, but Crocs have even used raffles to handle the purchasing of them.
The most recent drop contained a more muted colorway. An “Urchin” purple, a “Stratus” white, “Stratus”, and a “Crocodile” green. Previous drops have included clogs in dark green, tan, and white. Now, Benbury has announced a triple-black colorway, “Sasquatch”, as well as orange, camo, teal, peach, and white/black colorways.
There is no release date for these new colorways, but we can only hope it’s sometime soon.
