Mindy Kaling’s Netflix dramedy Never Have I Ever released the trailer for season 3 late last week, and it’s shaping up to be the best season yet. Here's a quick synopsis for those who haven’t seen Never Have I Ever. The plot follows Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an outgoing Indian-American teenager trying to balance her love life, family issues, and friends.

Proceed with caution after this sentence because spoilers are ahead! In season one, Devi’s fat crush on her school’s resident popular hottie, Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnett), blossomed into a friendship with him. But, simultaneously, she developed feelings for her nemesis Ben Gross (Jaren Lewinson). By the end of the season, Devi was torn about her feelings for Ben and Paxton and struggled to figure out what she wanted.

Season 2 begins with Devi choosing both guys and explores the effects of Devi’s decision throughout ten episodes. After she gets caught in her lies, Ben and Paxton break up with her, but Paxton and Devi make up by the end of the season. In the trailer for the upcoming season, we can see that Devi and Paxton will start stronger than ever.

Recently, it was announced by Netflix that Never Have I Ever will end after season 4, so it seems like we’re closer to finding out how Devi’s story will end. The series has focused on making Devi a three-dimensional character trying to become more comfortable with herself, so the show may end with Devi being content without a boyfriend.
