Ms Banks & Havana Club Meet Up In Trap Kitchen On Second ‘Raise One’ Episode
Take a look at the new spiced-up collaboration.
Ms Banks has teamed up with Havana Club for the second time in the ‘Raise One’ series, following the recent launch of their new Cuban Spiced drink. The IGTV shows, which started off last week, are hosted by the South London rap star, sharing positive and spiced-up vibes in the creative world and the wider community.
The three weekly episodes focus on dance, cuisine and music, promoting various emerging UK artists as well as the new Havana Club Cuban Spiced - the company's first spiced offering. The exciting collaboration with the talented 27-year-old singer and songwriter was announced via Instagram on 12th May and for the official campaign pics, Ms Banks invited her friends too, including Denise Dainty, Leah Abbott, Irene Agbontaen and Tion Wayne.
The first episode from last week introduced Chop Daily – a social media platform dedicated to showcasing afrobeat dance videos. MS Banks talked to Chop Daily’s founder, Dex, and lead dancer and content creator, Nife, about the platform overall, its success and impact on the scene, and music. Alongside Nife, Ms Banks also tested her dance skills.
The second and latest episode takes us to Trap Kitchen, a seafood restaurant in southwest London with branches in Birmingham and Manchester too. The owner of the company, Prince, tells the story of how it all started, their influences and pushing forward the seafood market. In the end, Ms Banks makes her own Havana Club drink and later raises a toast with Prince.
The third and last session will introduce No Signal, the UK’s best new radio station which was created during the lockdown in 2020, mainly dedicated to Black music and artists.
The last episode will be out this Friday, the 28th of May on GRM Daily.
