“Monki Thinks” It’s Time To Focus On Self-Love

Explore your “Inner Outer Nature” with Monki.

As part of their “Monki Thinks” range, the Swedish brand has launched a new campaign. The edit, entitled “Inner Outer Nature”, draws on the exploration of our inner world which can be strongly affected by the decreasing temperatures and increasingly rainy days, that are so typical for the October month.

The campaign is promoting a limited-edition collection, consisting of a clever mix of outerwear and practical accessories. The complementary lookbook was shot by Barcelona-based photographer Berta Pfirsich in a Sahlgrenska Science Park where Monki explored all aspects of their topical self-love leitmotiv with the help of a group of professionals, namely a doctor, a psychologist and a health care expert.

To accompany the neutral pictures, Monki released a picturesque, 20-second-video that underlines the idea of finding inner peace by going back to our natural habitat: the woods. Taking it one step further, the brand asked poet and digital creative talent Veronica Odetunde to vlog self-love-related content for four days.

With the “WHEREVER WATEREVER, Drink Responsibly” slogan, printed in poignant green on their water bottle, Monki subtly hints at the sister-campaign “Monki Cares” which focuses mainly on ensuring an ethical and sustainable production.

“Inner Outer Nature” will be available end October 2019 in select Monki flagship stores as well as Monki’s official website.
