Braison Cyrus Walks His First—And Last—Dolce & Gabbana Runway Show
Miley Cyrus and Stefano Gabbana are tied up in a petty Insta fight.
Miley Cyrus’ younger brother Braison made his runway debut on Dolce & Gabanna’s Spring 2018 Milan Fashion Week over the weekend, and like any proud sister, Miley took to Instagram to congratulate her little bro... but then.... in true Miley fashion, she just had to also throw some shade on D&G’s politics in her congratulatory post. (If you didn’t already know, D&G delights in dressing First Lady Melania Trump, which directly opposes Miley’s personal beliefs.)
"Congrats @braisonccyrus on walking in your 1st runway show.... It's never been my little brothers dream to be a model as HE is one of the most talented musicians my ears have ever been given the gift of hearing.... BUT it is a Cyrus family trait to try everything once (within reason HA) and to embrace opportunities that encourage you to step out of your comfort zone! We believe in trying something new everyday! I love you Prince Suga Bear and seriously congratulations on your experience! I am so proud of you always.... From Nashville to Italy! 👑❤️👑❤️👑❤️ PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics.... but I do support your company's effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!" she wrote.
Since Stefano Gabbana actually lives for this kind of drama, he immediately fired back on Miley’s post. “Ignorant!!!” he responded. He then decided he couldn't leave well enough alone. So, he came back for some more, commenting, “For your stupid comment never more work with him,” adding two heart emojis. Two. Heart. Emojis. The level of pettiness is unreal.
Then, since he literally can 👏🏼 not 👏🏼 stop, he reposted Miley’s gram with a saucy caption of his own.
"We are Italian and we don't care about politics and mostly neither about the American one!" he quipped. "We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it's simply ignorant. We don't need your posts or comments so next time please ignore us!!" Of course, he added the hashtag, #boycottdolcegabbana for emphasis.
And there you have it. IDK we're going to go take a nap.
