Lazy Oaf x Outsiders Division: Playing Dress-Up for Grown Kids
Playful prints, surreal silhouettes, and a rebellious spirit.
This September, London’s misfit cult brand Lazy Oaf is locking arms with Barcelona’s Outsiders Division for a capsule that refuses to play by grown-up rules. Titled Not Growing Up, the 10-piece drop is a celebration of refusing to age gracefully because who actually wants to? Led by Outsiders founder David Méndez Alonso, the collab blends his technicolor fantasy world with Lazy Oaf’s tongue-in-cheek irreverence. The result: clothes that feel like recess never ended.
The collab launches September 3rd online and in-store, with an early access party on September 2nd at Lazy Oaf’s Soho shop.
A Fantasy Closet
The lineup is heavy on illustrated prints and playful silhouettes, spanning shirts, dresses, kilts, knits, and outerwear. There’s a childlike joy woven into every piece, from cartoonish scrawls to blown-up proportions that tip into surreal territory. Accessories finish the story printed tights, wrist warmers, and a fuzzy hat that screams cozy chaos. Prices range from £20 to £175, making it an accessible yet statement-heavy drop.
A Campaign Out of Scale
To bring it all to life, the duo cooked up a campaign staged in a warped garden. Think sprouting plants, oversized creepy crawlies, and a playful sense of scale distortion that makes you question if you’ve been miniaturized. It’s a kaleidoscopic visual trip classic Alonso spliced with Lazy Oaf’s subversive eye-roll at normalcy. Together, they’ve built a fashion playground where imagination outruns responsibility.
Where to Cop
The collab launches September 3rd online and in-store. You can check out an immersive in-store installation with exclusive free gifts and refreshments running through September 11th.
