Kristen Stewart And Oscar Isaac Are Going To Be 80s Vampires
What to expect from their new film Flesh of the Gods.
Anyone that's interested in vampires, Kristen Stewart, Oscar Isaac has already added this film to their watchlist despite how little has been announced. But we can tell you what style the film hopes to achieve.
A producer behind the film described it as “a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence,” which fits perfectly with the director, Panos Cosmatos’, history of deeply stylized films. The best example of his work is the film Mandy, a psychedelic horror film starring Nicolas Cage.
We can also look back on Kristen Stewart's more recent films to see the style of horror she works on. She also leans into stylized and out-of-the-norm films, such as Crimes of the Future, David Cronenbergs most recent release.
All in all this film is set up to be cool, stylish, and almost certainly filled with violence. There will no doubt be a cult following at the very least, but with the promising cast that's been announced so far and the growing audience for arthouse films, we can see this film doing big numbers.
