Belgian eyewear house KOMONO are known for their sleek and contemporary designs. Now they picked a partner who brought more design moguls into the world than Nike Jordans — Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. With legends such as Maison Margiela under the belt — the Fashion Departement has truly earned international fame.
KOMONO choose a selected number of master students to create a capsule eyewear collection linked to their personal work. The mission is to aid the students’ exploration of innovative forms with workshops, given by KOMONO’s designers and product developers.
Have a close look at the designers and their creations: Grace Hyejinkim, from South Korea; Linus Leonardsson, from Sweden; Quinten Mestdagh, from Belgium and Nick Haemels, also from Belgium are the four lucky students who made their vision a reality.
