Kim Jones Dior SS19 Sneaker Fit

"Christian and Christian Dior damn they don't make 'em like Kim Jones". Ok those aren't the lyrics but when you see what Kim Jones architected for Dior you'll also be singing these lyrics. 

Anti-chunkers be relieved, Kim Jones is not taking Dior there. Jones is sticking to the fine dinning aesthetics of Dior but introducing a small subtle injection of the streetwear trend to the refined fashion house. Jones took inspo from Kriss Van Assche's Homme 2018 collection for Dior Sneakers and added in new colorways.

Gossip has it that the chunk is on the way out with the bejewelled Gucci Sega being the last chunk to end all chunks. But sales in Balenciaga's Triple S say other wise. The Triple S is also set to release a 2 in 1 colorway sneaker. 

Dior's sneakers are streamline coming fresh pastels, pure white or loud black, red and blue. The collection also borrows the Embroidered Dior Oblique Canvas Logo patter of the Dior Book Tote bag from 2018.
