It seems like one after the other brands are really wanting to step up their sustainable game and we’re all for it! After recently announcing that he was going to be moving Yeezy production to a 4,000 acre site complete with hydroponic farm in Wyoming, West has revealed the next step in production for his leading footwear brand.
During The Fast Company Innovation Festival, Kanye announced that his new Yeezy Clogs are going to be part made with Algae foam. This unique shoe concept and design is crafted via one piece construction with tactically placed cut-outs to enhance breathability.
His decision to take a step in a more sustainable direction is a great move for Yeezy and his loyal fans. Not only does it open up potential for new customers, it gives us more exciting and innovative new products to look forward to, keep your eyes on this one!
