Brighten Your Winter Wardrobe With The New Air Force 1 Type

A prototype aesthetic with hints of yellow and gold.

POSTED BY RACHEL TOOLEY

Another reiteration of the Nike Air Force 1 has been released featuring a white, gold and yellow palette, bringing a prototype aesthetic to the classic sneaker. Nike’s Air Force 1 model was the first basketball shoe to use the specialised Nike Air technology, created by Bruce Kilgore and released in 1982. The silhouette has seen a few redesigns over the past couple of years putting a contemporary spin on the iconic shoe, after it being one of the most popular shoes within sneaker culture of all time.

The latest release for the ‘Air Force 1 Type’ sneaker features a white synthetic upper with a perforated toe, with a black handwritten ‘N.354’ motif on the lateral side of the shoe. The medial side of the shoe features a transparent Nike swoosh logo which is layered over a gold textile mesh and black detailing. The adjustable yellow strap stretches across the foot which follows around the whole sneaker to give it a 360-degree fit, whilst the gold tone tongue incorporates a perforated detail to create extra ventilation throughout the design.

You can buy the Air Force 1 Type ‘White/Club Gold/Gold Suede/University Gold’ now at a price of $140USD, from Nike.com and various selected retailers.
