Ten year anniversary, KKW style.
2020 see’s the 10 year anniversary of Kanye West’s revered studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and now Kim Kardashian West has given us a glimpse at the original poem, written by Kanye for Kim’s 30th Birthday, that inspired the track Lost in the World.
Kim took to Twitter to share a photo of the handwritten card given to her by her husband which includes a poem that Kanye ended up incorporating into the track, alongside some artful drawings of the two of them.
"Kanye couldn’t come up with some of the lyrics but then realized he had then in a poem he had written me that was my birthday card he gave me for my 30th birthday,” KKW wrote on Twitter. “He took the poem he wrote me and made it the song. I keep everything!”

Although the run up to the album wasn’t without it’s controversies (including that VMA’s run in with Taylor Swift) the tape is widely considered to be one of West’s best works, winning two GRAMMYS in 2012- Best Rap Album, and best Rap/Sung Collaboration for All of the Lights.
