Los Angeles-based indie recording artist Kaien Cruz has released their highly anticipated debut album, "KAIEN," taking listeners on a mesmerizing journey through experimental soundscapes, genre-bending compositions, and soulful fusions. The self-titled album is available on all streaming platforms via The Orchard, showcasing Kaien's unique songwriting and ethereal vocals.

Kaien's musical prowess shines on the 12 tracks featured in "KAIEN," with production contributions from renowned talents like Dan Farber, Os Young, and Sonic Major. The album includes the captivating focus single "Tell No One" and previously released hits "Black Ice" and "I Lay," the latter of which received an invigorating remix featuring Xenia Manasseh and was playlisted on flagship Spotify R&B playlists.

Speaking about the inspiration behind their debut album, Kaien Cruz reflects, "KAIEN is a culmination of the diverse range of ebbs and flows I've experienced throughout my life thus far – love, heartbreak, bliss, misery, and everything that lies in the space between. I've been composing this body of work for years now, and it feels so surreal that I finally get to share it with the world. Genre bending, smooth vocals, and honest lyrics are my way of creating something for everyone to connect to."

Kaien Cruz, a rising star originally from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, has garnered attention for their genre-blurring music and unique artistry. Their debut single, "Love Me In The Dark," received a Song of the Year nomination at the South African Music Awards and marked the beginning of their musical journey. Kaien's talent led to an incredible opportunity to open for Justin Bieber on his Purpose Tour in front of a massive crowd of 90,000, setting the stage for their career.

Having released two EPs independently, Kaien Cruz made their way to Los Angeles in 2022, embarking on their first U.S. tour, which included performances at SXSW and Governor's Ball.
