Jelly shoes are making a comeback, and I honestly didn’t expect to ever see them again. I used to think they were something I’d permanently leave behind in childhood, but lately, I keep seeing them styled in ways that feel trendy and fresh. Plus, being able to wear them to the beach, the pool, or just around the block without worrying about stains is seriously underrated when it comes to shoes.

What I love most is how they tap into everything I’m already obsessed with right now in fashion. The mix of retro and modern, the glossy finish, and the slight pop of a casual outfit. I’ve been eyeing jelly shoes for the past month, and all I can think about is how cute they would look paired with a simple dress or a linen set. The shoe somehow always pulled the outfit together without trying too hard.

I also can appreciate their practicality. Slipping them on, walking around on the beach, pool, or just around the block without worrying about stains is so underrated when it comes to a shoe. For me, that ease is another reason I’m obsessed with them.

This summer season, jelly shows have become one of my most reached-for pairs, and I keep choosing them without thinking twice because they just work with everything.
