JANTJE ONTEMBAAR And ASICS Collab For A Sick Sneaker Collection
The 2 Japanese powerhouses are collaborating for the first time.
ASICS are giving their iconic Kayano 5 OG sneakers a colorful twist in collaboration with Japanese boutique JANTJE ONTEMBAAR.
The original Kayano are known for its sleek and retro vibes, but with this new release we are getting two original designs of sneakers, one with messy paint splatters and another with an abstract display artwork on a blue backdrop. A white shade colorway is used on the tongue, tooling and lining. The sneakers are finished off with ASICS signature purple branding on the overlay in a strike and spiral form, with the colouring matching the treads.
With the brand being exclusive to Japan, overseas fans will have to acquire luck to get their hands on the sneakers. A raffle will begin on 16th June 2020, and end on June 19th 2020. Good luck.
