Vespa and Dior have joined forces to bring you an exclusive version of the 946 scooters and a range of matching accessories that will make you dream of driving around an Italian village. The Vespa 946 Christian Dior aims to reinvent the spirit of freedom, movement, and expression that drives the two companies which were both founded in 1946. Made in Italy this collaborative model was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of Dior’s women’s collections.

“I was very excited about this project with Vespa,” Chiuri said. “For me, Vespa is linked to my city, Rome. It’s linked to the freedom to move around the city with ease, like in the film Roman Holiday (1953), which has left that extraordinary image of Audrey Hepburn clinging to Gregory Peck on a Vespa forever etched in our collective memory.”

“I have so many happy memories starring a Vespa. It’s how my husband and I used to get around Rome and go to the seaside in Fregene,” she went on to add. “It’s a symbol of Italian-ness that is intricately linked to my personal history, and it’s now part of my professional life at Dior.

The saddle of the scooter showcases the Dior Oblique motif, designed by Marc Bohan in 1967. A top case patterned with the same motif has been specially designed to be fixed on the scooter's luggage rack, adding a charming allure. A helmet with the same design rounds of the collection and will keep you stylish and safe on your travels. This limited edition collab will launch Spring 2021 in Dior boutiques around the world.
