The Influencers Killing The Coachella 2018 Style Game

#KillChella

POSTED BY DEE CUNNING

It's not all about the celebs, you know. If you ask us, best-dressed lists only get interesting when you also turn the lens on the people who almost definitely don't have a personal stylist carefully curating their festival looks – i.e your average fashion influencer.

Of course, we're talking about Coachella, the festival where everyone who's hot goes to peacock in the most midriff-bearing, mainstream-music way possible. Whatever you're into. Anyway, we thought we'd follow Beyoncé fans' suit and create our own hashtag, #KillChella, which isn't anywhere near as morbid as it sounds. S'all about killing the style game, people. Chill.

Without further ado, here are our best-dressed of Coachella so far.

Aleali May

Riding with her trademark fusion of streetwear and luxury, Aleali May is all about beefy footwear, baggy pants, tight crop tops and Chanel logos. Honorable mention goes to those mega-futuristic sunnies.

Bella Hadid

As with all Bella Hadid looks, this noughties-heavy vibe was smoking. And for double the dopeness, she also got to hang with Snoop Dogg.

Winnie Harlow

With such incredibly striking beauty, Winnie need only wear a bikini to have a serious look going on. We love her homage to her Jamaican heritage, and the barely there Palm Angels two-piece that makes it acceptable to basically just wear pantyhose as pants.

Armela Jakova

Sometimes the best looks are those that keep it simple – like, one-piece simple. Armela Jakova gets the retro vibe spot on in a pair of flared Wrangler overalls and matching '70s-style shades. The shades also stay on in her next look, keeping it classic in an '80s-style tied shirt and denim cut-offs.

Sandra Lambeck

Sandra Lambeck brought in the #BLACKCHELLA hashtag, and we totally get the choice of capitals cos, damnnn, these looks were big. We hope those roller skates weren't just for posing though.

Elle Hu

This is one girl who ain't flowing with the style mainstream. See that midriff? No? Yeah, us neither. It's all about masterfully layered streetwear, popping sneaks, and a handy lighter necklace – pretty sure that's Ambush FYI.

Siobhan Bell

Since Siobhan Bell “only comes out at night,” as much black as possible is a fitting outfit choice for the London DJ. We're in love with the punchy sneakers.

Romee Strijd

Dutch model Romee Strijd forgoes her typical glossy look for toughened-up military vibes and street-ready braids. We're living for those camo pants.

Princess Nokia

How could you not love this festival flower girl? Fuck flower crowns, we'll take blue curls and gigantic daisies instead.

SONIA

Sultry singer SONIA goes for the classics in top-to-toe Topshop. Yeah, it was totally a paid partnership, but you gotta love the accessibility of this cute triangle bikini and frayed cut-offs.

Barbara Malewicz

“My name is malewicz but they call me malebitch.” Fashion journalist Barbara's big attitude was plain to see in her head-turning festival style. Let us just take a moment to breathe and say, chapsssss. Yes, cowboy chaps, with multicolored panties underneath. Oh my.

Next up, these 5 cool fanny packs prove that less really is more.
