HBO’s hit drama House of the Dragon is officially back in action, with production underway for its highly anticipated third season. Filming has commenced in the UK for the upcoming eight-episode season, continuing the epic tale of House Targaryen set 200 years before Game of Thrones.
New Faces Join the Fight for the Iron Throne
Returning favorites include Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, and Rhys Ifans, while fresh blood has been added to the cast. Sons of Anarchy star Tommy Flanagan steps in as Ser Roderick Dustin, while Fantastic Beasts actor Dan Fogler takes on the role of Ser Torrhen Manderly. Previously announced newcomer James Norton joins as Ormund Hightower.
Behind the scenes, showrunner Ryan Condal leads a powerhouse team, with George R.R. Martin himself serving as executive producer. With acclaimed directors Clare Kilner and Andrij Parekh returning, fans can expect another season filled with fire, blood, and political intrigue.
