The Many Ways You Can Wear Hoops

There is nothing in this world that I love more than hoop earrings. They’re my go-to accessory for every outfit because when I’m toiling away trying to put together a cool look, a little gold hoop will make me look put-together without taking attention away from the clothes.

My everyday hoop size of choice leans small, about the size of a gumball. I wear them with a baby tee and jeans most days, maybe throwing in a skinny scarf.

For clubbing, I wear a bigger hoop with a minidress or miniskirt. If you’re going to go full out, then the club is the place to do it, and I think big hoops for a party look are a well-established must by this point.

The other day, I bought a new pair of small hoops bedazzled with crystals. I wore them with a strapless maxi to a jazz bar, and I felt like I fit the theme perfectly. I’m honestly so glad I bought them because I now have a more elevated version of my usual pair, perfect for occasions when a tiny gold hoop just isn’t enough.
