Priyanka Chopra

In a previous interview, Priyanka Chopra shared a face mask recipe that her mother, Madhu Chopra, used to make for her. This ubtan mask requires just five simple ingredients. Having tried this face mask myself and recreated it weekly, I can confidently say it's one of my favorites.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
4-5 drops lime juice
1 tablespoon full cream yogurt
4-5 drops Rosewater

Directions:

In a clean bowl, add whole wheat flour, a pinch of turmeric, and a few drops of lime juice. Mix in full cream yogurt, and then introduce a few drops of rose water. Apply the mask evenly on your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off.

Benefits:

Whole wheat flour acts as a natural exfoliant, removing dead skin cells for a smoother complexion. Turmeric's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties can reduce inflammation and brighten the skin. Lime juice's citric acid provides exfoliation and evens skin tone. Yogurt's lactic acid is a gentle exfoliant, moisturizing and soothing the skin. Rose water helps balance pH and refresh the skin.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner has openly discussed her acne struggles, emphasizing the effort she invests in maintaining her seemingly flawless skin. Jenner's clear skin recipe involves egg whites and lemon.

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of honey

Directions:

Separate the egg white, whisk until frothy, add lemon juice, and mix. Apply the mask for 30 minutes and rinse off.

Benefits:

Lemon juice brightens the skin and acts as a gentle exfoliant. Baking soda exfoliates and balances pH levels. Honey, a natural humectant, attracts and retains moisture, preventing acne.

Olivia Culpo

Olivia Culpo's go-to face mask consists of avocado and honey, providing hydration and antibacterial benefits. This mask is particularly helpful for Culpo during winter when her skin tends to be more sensitive.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup ripe avocado
2 tablespoons of raw honey

Directions:

Mash avocado and honey until smooth. Spread onto the face, leave for 15 minutes, then rinse off.

Benefits:

Avocado's healthy fats nourish and moisturize the skin. Antioxidants in avocados protect against oxidative stress. Honey's antibacterial properties and moisture retention benefit overall skin health.

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber shares a simple DIY mask using one egg and one tablespoon of honey to minimize pores.

Ingredients:

1 Egg
1 Tablespoon of Raw honey

Directions:

Whisk the egg, add honey, mix, apply the mixture, and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.

Benefits:

Eggs are rich in proteins, which can contribute to maintaining the skin's elasticity and firmness. Eggs contain vitamins like B-complex vitamins and vitamin D, which can support overall skin health. Amino acids in eggs may help nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Some people use egg whites specifically for their temporary tightening effect on the skin. They are thought to help reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines.

Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it attracts and retains moisture. This can help keep the skin hydrated. Raw honey contains antioxidants that may help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Honey has anti-inflammatory properties, which can be beneficial for soothing irritated or inflamed skin. Honey has natural antibacterial properties, which can be useful for preventing and treating acne and other skin blemishes. The enzymes in honey may help exfoliate the skin gently, promoting a smoother complexion.

Kate Middleton:

While having access to top-notch skin care products, the Duchess of Cambridge opts for Nutella to keep her skin hydrated. According to her beautician, Deborah Mitchell, Nutella not only moisturizes with its fatty acids but also acts as a gentle exfoliant due to its sugar crystals.

Ingredients:

A jar of Nutella

Directions:

Apply the spread, let it dry, and then wipe it off using your fingertips (without adding water!).

Benefits:

Hazelnuts and palm oil in Nutella provide moisturization. Sugar crystals act as a mild exfoliant. Cocoa solids contain antioxidants, offering potential benefits for the skin.
