H&M Links With Justine Skye To Bring The Festival Vibes
A new collection you’ll want to wear all summer long
H&M is hotting up for summer as they are once again linking with the beauty that is Justine Skye. The Swedish fashion retailer worked with the singer/songwriter last year on a cloud-themed collection inspired by her Jamaican/Brooklyn roots. This year though, the two are bringing a capsule collection which is party and picture-perfect. The ‘festival collection’ will fit straight onto the ‘gram for your music festival outfits.
Skye spoke to Teen Vogue about the capsule as it “gives you more of my actual fashion sense and items I know I’d wear to a festival.” This is in comparison to her first collection which she sees as more of “an intro to who I am and where I’m from.”
The campaign for the collection came in the form of a music video in which Skye performs her single “Bulletproof.” Proving once again that fashion and music go hand in hand. As for the collection itself, we can expect to make a statement with a see-through neon short set and puffer-jacket inspired dress in striking metallic being spotted in the video.
It’s pretty hush atm with no full preview of the collection or pricing details. But no fear, you don’t have to wait long as the collection drops March 12th in H&M stores and online.
