Henrik Vibskov AW25: The Art Of Chaos

A surreal spectacle at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

POSTED BY SIMONE STUBGAARD

Leave it to Henrik Vibskov to transform a runway show into a surreal, immersive experience. This season at Théâtre Republique, the Danish designer, artist, and musician delivered a spectacle that blurred the lines between fashion, performance, and installation art.

Before the first model even appeared, Vibskov himself spent 20 minutes hidden under a sheet, only to be dramatically unveiled—drumsticks in hand—setting the tone for what was to come. At the center of the space, a sprawling banquet table draped in white linen stood covered in half-eaten plates, champagne bottles, mossy rocks, sculptures, and even bowling pins—an eerie, decadent aftermath of an unseen, hedonistic feast.

As for the collection, playful eccentricity reigned supreme. Oversized technical jackets, parachute trousers, and lightweight shirting came alive with vibrant, whimsical prints—mountain goats, fishermen, and footprints, a poetic nod to the marks we leave on Earth. The finale, met with deafening applause, proved once again that Vibskov doesn’t just put on a show—he creates a world. And in true sustainable spirit, the stunning set won’t go to waste.

With over 40 collections, museum exhibitions, and even opera costume designs under his belt, Vibskov remains a multidisciplinary force, redefining what fashion can be. Find out more about Henrik Vibskov at Henrikvibskov.com.
