Haliey Welch Relaunches 'Talk Tuah' Podcast

Without Jake Paul.

Internet sensation Haliey Welch, best known as the “Hawk Tuah” girl, is officially bringing back her Talk Tuah podcast. But this time, she’s doing it on her own—without Jake Paul or his betting company, Betr.

Welch first blew up in 2024 when her cheeky “Hawk Tuah” catchphrase became a viral cultural phenomenon. From merch drops to launching a dating app and a podcast, the 22-year-old Tennessean didn’t waste any time cashing in on her moment.

Talk Tuah Returns April 8 — Under a New Banner

According to Vulture, the revamped Talk Tuah will debut on Tuesday, April 8. But don’t expect to see Jake Paul anywhere near it. Haliey and Betr have officially parted ways, with both parties releasing a classic PR statement saying they “wish each other well.”

This time, the podcast will be produced by Haliey’s own company, 16 Minutes. The last episode dropped back on December 3, 2024, titled “How to Avoid Getting Cancelled”—a title that didn’t exactly age well.

The Meme Coin Controversy and Disappearance

Just one day after that episode aired, Welch launched her own meme coin, $Hawk, and immediately caught flak for what many claimed was a rug pull. She even ended up in a heated X Spaces showdown with crypto sleuth Coffeezilla.

After that drama, Welch vanished from the internet for a while. But in a recent interview with TMZ, she revealed the SEC has since wrapped up their investigation with no fines or penalties. Welch says she originally agreed to the meme coin deal because proceeds were meant to go to her charity.

Looking Ahead: New Podcast, New Chapter

Now that the legal mess is behind her, Welch says she’s ready for a comeback. “I’ve been cooperating with all the authorities and attorneys, and finally, that work is complete,” she explained. She wants to shift the focus back to the good—the laughs, the vibes, and the viral chaos.

And there’s even more on the way. A documentary about Haliey’s rise to fame is reportedly in the works, produced by Bungalow Media + Entertainment, the Emmy-winning team behind several hit series. The Hawk Tuah era isn’t over—it’s just getting started.
